Martin helping out with the soil gas measurements of CO2 and CH4 using the Picarro GasScouter. In the front, the two chambers are used to capture BVOCs in Tenax tubes using a pump-system that we call a "Toolbox".
Drilling holes in bottles so that gasses can easily be exchanged when they are installed into the soil in specific depths. These are the first small steps in establishing my site out in Blæsedalen.
Soil incubation experiment. I measure the increase in CO2 in the vials with incubated soil in order to estimate the soil CO2-production rate. Can't complain about the view!
